How To Find Us Out & About

Oaklands Hotel and Acorn Lodge are situated adjacent to each other, and share a large illuminated car park, on the main Blackburn to Preston road (A677), in the Corporation Park preservation area and within walking distance (approximately 1/2 a mile) of Blackburn Town Centre and just 6.5 miles from Junction 31 of the M6 motorway. Look for the second
"Keep Left" sign (see photograph below) after the Revidge Road traffic lights.

From M6 (South):
Leave the motorway at Junction 31 onto the A59 towards Blackburn. Carry straight on at the "Swallow Hotel" traffic lights (the A59 turns left here and the road number changes to the A677). Within 1/2 mile you will pass Samlesbury Hall on your left and a little further on, the "KFC" diner on your right. In approximately 4.5 miles carry staight on at the Revidge Road Crossroads (traffic lights). At the second "Keep Left" sign(pictured above) you will see our car park gates at the corner of Adelaide Terrace.

From M6 (North):
Leave the motorway at Junction 31 and turn left onto the A59. From here follow above instructions.

From M61:
Join M6 and leave motorway at Junction 31 and follow above instructions.

M65 From Colne:
Leave motorway at Junction 6 onto the A6119. Carry straight on until the T-Junction with the A677. Turn left and up the hill to the
